Energy Survey Results
The lower the score the more efficient your business is.
Score above 100 = Poor
Score 50 - 100 = Average
Score below 50 = Good
It’s a good idea to repeat the survey at regular intervals, especially after a campaign to compare the results:
It’s useful to communicate your energy rating to staff on a regular basis. Try setting a goal and creating league tables for the different departments within the business to create and maintain interest.
Staff Survey Results
Mostly A’s
These people are used to saving energy at home and will already be implementing some energy savings at work, like switching off equipment. They understand the impact energy use has on the environment and know what they can do to reduce it. Build on these positive attitudes and use them to help others.
Mostly B’s
Are aware of environmental issues, they may already be saving energy at home - but haven’t thought they could do them at work too. These people may need a little help to understand that energy efficiency is easy to do, it’s a matter of getting into the habit.
Mostly C’s
May understand that there’s an environmental problem but don’t link it to using energy and think that it’s someone else’s responsibility. Use your campaign to raise awareness and change their attitude.
Mostly D’s
Have no interest in energy efficiency. They’ll be hard to convert and may only respond if saving energy becomes part of work culture. Usually, they’re the last to follow, but once converted are likely to be the most loyal.
